Music Room

Music plays an important role in a child's overall development intellectually, socially, and emotionally. Music offers creative challenges and aesthetic appreciation as well as self-expression and self-discovery. To foster emotional and practical maturity in students , VVN emphasizes in imparting appropriate music and practical classes in different genres .

Vivekanand Library

The school library has a wide and rich choice of books, periodicals, magazines and newspapers to suit the taste and interest of every student. Students are encouraged to use the library frequently and open shelf system is followed. They are motivated to utilize their time profitably in the library for enriching their quest of knowledge. Any member of staff and society can donate books or magazines to the library to increase the variety of books in the school library.

Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL)

Welcome to the world of endless possibilities at the Atal Tinkering Lab . ATL is a hub of innovation fostering creativity and problem-solving skills among students. Equipped with cutting-edge tools and guided by experienced ATL instructor , we inspire hands-on learning and experimentation. Through project-based activities and workshops, students develop future-ready skills and entrepreneurial mindsets. Our lab serves as a collaborative space for students, educators, and industry experts to exchange their ideas and inspire innovation. Here student's creativity explores new technologies to make a difference in the world.

Hi – Tech Smart Class

This leading globally diversified education solution provides a vast resource of knowledge to each class through interactive multimedia content to foster a better understanding of the course curriculum.

Activity Room

School has developed a unique activity room for the pre-primary and primary kids. This room is adequately equipped with modern toys, blocks , different types of slides. Kids can even watch cartoon movies, educational videos, and rhymes in this room.

Sports

VVN lays great emphasis on physical and socio development of its students. Within our curriculum, the students are motivated to participate in regular weekly sports activities (indoor and outdoor) which makes VVN as the best school for sports at Assandh. The timetable includes regular sports lessons/classes per week. Individual sports : Chess, Skating, Athletics, Yoga, Judo , Running and Fitness Team sports : Volleyball, Handball, and Basketball.

Dance Room

Dance and Drama are an integral part of our school.There is spacious and well equipped dance room in the school which facilitates the creative, aesthetic and artistic nurturing of the students. Students perform dance at various school events, Students are trained in various forms of classical and semi classical dance forms. Opportunities to perform in Inter House, Inter School and other levels are provided to the students.

Art & Craft

Our teachers deliver lessons designed to develop creativity using a variety of media and techniques in art and craftwork. Awareness of colour, shape, balance, focus and proportion are formed alongside the use of symbols to convey ideas and feelings.

Transport

Safe and reliable transport is provided to the day scholars with a fleet of 25 buses, which cover all major routes within a radius of 20 kilometers . The drivers are well-trained, trustworthy and punctual, and all the buses are equipped with CCTV camera, fire-extinguishers, first-aid kits and speed governors. Road safety is the top priority at VVN,Assandh .

Physics Lab

VVN is proud to have a sophisticated Physics Laboratory with the latest apparatus that equip the students to have hands on experience. We allow the teachers to incorporate the latest technology in their lessons to create the interest and curiosity of the students.

Chemistry Lab

Chemistry Laboratory provides a platform for students to nurture the budding scientist within them . The Lab is the place where the students are motivated for research and experimentations to learn real life experiences.

Biology Lab

Observations and experiments make learning more interesting and fun. Biology lab is well equipped with preserved specimens, informative slides, working models and bio visual charts which inculcates scientific temper among the students.

Mathematics Lab

The mathematics laboratory is a place where anybody can experiment and explore patterns and ideas. It is a place where one can find a collection of games, puzzles and other teaching and learning material. The learning materials pertaining to Maths are meant to be used both by the students on their own and with their teacher to explore the world of mathematics, that helps a student to develop an interest in Mathematics.

Language Lab

Language learning needs to practice the four skills listening, speaking ,reading and writing .Communication involves one's ability to listen carefully so as to grasp the meaning and to respond in turn with apt words and clarity of pronunciation.

Computer and Coding Lab

Extensive knowledge about computer both theoretical and practical is imparted to our students. School has a large computer complex. We use technology as a tool to further the academic and community goals of the school and student Individual work stations and qualified and well trained teachers makes the usage of the computer as easy as using pen and paper. Special emphasis is laid on training the students for AI and Coding.

NCC (Air Wing)

The National Cadet Corps is the Indian military cadet corps with its head Quarters at New Delhi. It is open to school and college students on voluntary basis.The National Cadet Corps in India is a voluntary organization which recruits cadets from high schools, colleges and Universities all over India. The Cadets are given basic military training in small arms and parades. The officers and cadets have no liability for active military service once they complete their course but are given preference over normal candidates during selections based on the achievements in the corps.

AIM OF NCC

• ⦁ The primary aim of NCC is to develop character, discipline, comradeship, secular outlook, leadership, ideals of selfless service and a spirit of adventure amongst the youth of the country.
• ⦁ To provide a suitable environment for the youth and motivate them to take up a career in the armed forces.
• ⦁ To create a human resource of trained, organised and motivated youth.
• ⦁ To provide leadership in all spheres of life and be always available for the service of the nation.

WHAT TRAINING DOES NCC PROVIDE TO ITS CADETS?

• ⦁ Candidates are trained in shooting, drilling, physical fitness, map reading, first aid, camp training and sailing.
• ⦁ Out of the entire training period, every candidate of junior and senior division must undergo service training for a minimum period of 75% of total hours during the school session.
• ⦁ Every cadet during the training year has to attend an annual training camp of 14 days in the case of senior division and 10 days in the case of a junior division.
